In case of USB flapping/reconnecting on your DELL laptop,
- try to update all drivers and BIOS first,
- then update displaylink driver to latest version
- and then follow this fix in BIOS
- Bios- System configuration – USB configuration -> uncheck both checkboxes
system configuration – Dell Type-C Dock configuration – uncheck checkbox
REBOOT - Bios – System configuration – USB configuration -> check both checkboxes
REBOOT - Bios – system configuration – Dell Type-C Dock configuration – check checkbox
REBOOT
I can confirm, that this solved issue on my laptop.
